God is the Creator of the universe and of all that exists (He is the first person of the Trinity). He created man and woman in His image and likeness. God is omniscient (all knowing), omnipotent (can do anything) and omnipresent (is everywhere). God is good and has mercy on all who believe in Him and repent of their sins. God freely gives us salvation and eternal life.

 

God’s desire is for us to be saved. As a result of His great love and mercy, He made the decision to send His only beloved Son, Jesus Christ, so that we may obtain mercy before His eyes and through faith and repentance of our sins, could be saved. For this reason, the gateway to salvation is by the belief in Jesus Christ, through faith and with repentance of our sins.
